Prawn and avocado starter with a citrus dressing








This starter is perfect if you're trying not to have to have a heavy lunch or whatever the case might be, i would prefer to start my meal light so it's easy to have an apatite for the coming meals.

Ingredients



Method :

Prawns 

  1. Season the prawns with the lemon pepper  and paprika season generously and set aside. 
  2. Slice or roughly chop your lettuce leaves and  set aside.
  3. Heat your pan on medium heat, drizzle with olive oil, place your prawns clockwise( this helps to know which one needs to be flipped first) and fry for 1 minute on each side.

Creamy lemon pepper dressing:

  • In a bowl add Mayonnaise, lemon juice, honey, crushed garlic, lemon zest and mix well for the dressing, season with salt and pepper .

Four season lettuce and avocado :
  • Assemble your sliced avocado on the plate with the chopped lettuce in the middle of the plate. 
  •  Place your prawns around the greens. 
  • Lightly drizzle your dressing over your Lettuce and serve.
